Sealy Is Back
The homegrown winger comes at a time when FC Dallas needs all the help it can get in the attack.
Today, FC Dallas made it official that winger Dante Sealy is back from his two year long loan to PSV.
Sealy may not have had the most successful loan by some standards, but his past two years wracked up 56 appearances with PSV-U21s. He didn’t land the permanent contract that he might have wanted, but he got exposed to a difficult and different soccer environment. It will be interesting to see how he brings those skills and makes his presence felt with an FC Dallas team that is in dire need of reinforcements.
Nico Estevez suggested that Sealy will likely feature this weekend against the Colorado Rapids. Does that mean he gets his first start? Or does he emerge as an option off of the bench?
Sealy certainly comes from great attacking pedigree, as his father, former FC Dallas player Scott Sealy, was a standout striker in Major League Soccer for several seasons. The homegrown has plenty of room to continue to develop and grow, and he will get his chance at a crucial moment for FC Dallas’ season.
