Match Predictions: FC Dallas vs LAFC

FC Dallas is banged up.

Los Angeles FC is tired and catching up with a run of games packed together.

The match tonight could go a lot of different ways. If FC Dallas can claw a few set pieces together or get Velasco or Obrian that chance we need, there is a real possibility of wearing LA down and getting a vital win at home. But LAFC might try to run out get a goal early, bring in fresh legs, and wear down a thin FC Dallas team. I don’t know.

The good news, as I mentioned in our latest pod, there will be a couple of fresh players back in the mix for FC Dallas. Will that be enough?

Here is what we predict:

Tommy LeBeouf: Tonight I got LAFC winning. FCD just seems to run on roster “fumes” of kids, backups, and not one bonafide star (with Ferriera at GC). LAFC 3 FCD 0

Jose Carmona: 1-1. I am too optimistic for my own good.

Ismael Belkoura: 2-1 Dallas.

I’ll go with a 1-1 draw, but I hope it is the kind of draw where a youngster scores and the team can take some positives from the match.
