Match Predictions: Doom & Gloom
I polled our contributors for their match prediction for today's game against the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy. They feel... pessimistic.
It’s game day once again, and after the disappointing start last weekend against a depleted Minnesota United FC, the feelings are still a bit raw. FC Dallas players were openly disappointed with the performance. Head Coach Nico Estevez made it a point to critique how the team rushed some opportunities, but it is early. Maybe a slow start will help the team focus.
I turned to our panel of contributors to find out their score lines for tonight’s match, and well, brace yourselves, folks.
Ismael Belkoura came in first with a stark 2-2 prediction, even though it seems like LA will be missing Chicharito for the trip.
Jose Carmona follows suit with a 1-1 call, which would be an improvement over last week’s loss but doesn’t get the blood flowing.
Tommy LeBeouf is even harsher, predicting a 2-0 loss. He’s not enthused about this squad just yet.
As for me, though I am experiencing angst about this team, I have to think they are going to turn things around with a focused 1-0 win to kick their season in the right gear. The single goal comes from Jesus Ferreira who breathes a sigh of relief.
What do you think? What is your prediction for tonight’s match?
