Justin Che Scores as the U20s Advance

The FC Dallas youngster capped off another strong performance for the U20s as they cruise past New Zealand 4-0.

If you didn’t know, there is a World Cup going on for the U20 youngsters, and two FC Dallas players are there with the team, FC Dallas loanee Justin Che and GK Antonio Carrera. While Carrera hasn’t featured yet, Justin Che has earned a lot of minutes, and going into a summer transfer window when there will be a lot of speculation about his future, that’s a good thing.

To add icing to this soccer cake (what a silly metaphor to use, but whatever), Che scored today.

The question is what will happen to Justin Che. While there are some who wouldn’t mind him coming home and competing for minutes on an injury depleted squad, it’s more likely another team swoops in with a loan. The kid has got talent. For now, he gets to focus on advancing in the World Cup which continues later this week.
