Disappointment.

And it’s likely shared by FC Dallas head coach Nico Estevez, even if he doesn’t put it into such eloquent and simple terminology.

Asked about what he spoke to his team at halftime about, up 1-0, here is what Nico said:

“At halftime, adjusting some of the things that were working well,” the coach said. “I don’t know what happened. We were a completely different team. We started doing things that we shouldn’t have - it was too humid.”

Excuses?

Let’s be clear. FC Dallas has likely one of the most talented rosters in recent history, and a home draw is the result of the situation being… humid?
