And really, the game lived up to the billing. FC Dallas appears poised to build off of last year’s surprise playoff berth, with Petar Musa and Logan Farrington as a dangerous duo, and Toronto FC also showed improvement. Were there concerns in the performance? Of course. We saw some shades of the defensive miscues that really hurt the team last year, especially on home turf.
But a win is a win is a win.
