The Afterburn Soccer Show is pivoting to a new time this week. Again.

Once again, life and schedules get in the way of our live stream on Monday evenings, but that gives us a bit of extra time to work out some technical issues.

Here are some things to look forward to this week:

• Jose Carmona will be appearing as a guest on an Inter Miami podcast in advance of the match this week.

• I’ll share a bit about my experience as a member of the press during the past couple of weeks, first at the Los Angeles FC-FC Dallas match and next at the Los Dos-North Texas SC match. Fun stuff.

• We’ll be working on some upcoming interviews with talent for North Texas SC to get you the scoop on some young guys who have a chance to grow.

• We’ll continue thinking through the right back position battle and ask Ismael Belkoura to weigh in who should start next weekend. Ismael is kind of an Ema homer, so this should be fun.

• And we will go live.

It’s a busy week for me, but there will be plenty of soccer action to enjoy. By the way, US Open Cup is underway too. That will be exciting to look forward to.
