After a disappointing opening weekend loss, FC Dallas stepped back into their home stadium hoping to set things right. For most of the first half, things did not look all that better. Los Angeles Galaxy found a scrappy goal and looked to be in control.

Until, well, Paul Arriola got a ball to Alan Velasco, and then Jesus Ferreira showed why he is a Golden Boot candidate for 2023, all in the second half of the action.

FC Dallas truly looked alive.
