Afterburn Soccer Live Show: FC Dallas & North Texas SC Settle for Draws

With draws for both teams, Afterburn Soccer goes live tonight (due to scheduling constraints) to break down a busy weekend.

Two big results, plenty to talk about.

FC Dallas settled for that home draw on Saturday night. While there was a lot to be disappointed about, we can still sing the praises of a strong defensive performance against an excellent attacking unit for Nashville. We will hear from head coach Eric Quill on his disappointment but belief in this team and begin to think about the challenge ahead, facing Los Angeles FC in LA.

North Texas SC meanwhile opened their 2026 season on the road in Utah against Real Monarchs, and truly, despite settling for a point and losing the PK shootout, there is so much to like from this new look side. This team is going to be physical. There is talent all over the place, so we may want to raise our expectations.
