Well, friends, I was on a call with my wife (who is out of the country) when news broke that Nico Estevez had been let go as FC Dallas’ head coach.

I, of course, had to hang up and get to processing this news and what it meant for FC Dallas.

Later that night, North Texas continued to dominate. It was a weird place to be - frustration for Nico who was such a fantastic guy and clearly had a good relationship with his players - but also a realization that Dallas needed to be in a different place to be competitive going forward.

Tonight, we get to air it all out.
